Last night was our first theme The One Command Circle ~ Pajama Party! Everyone showed up in their pajamas and we had a great time. I want to especially acknowledge Brian for being such a good sport and attending his first Circle in pajamas! And I want to welcome Sandy to her first Circle as well. She jumped right in, pajamas and all.

The hot cocoa with mini marshmallows and the ice cream sandwiches were the hit treats of the night. Popcorn, cheese & crackers and for those eating healthy, we had vegetables. Several months ago we added a door prize drawing, just for fun and fun it is. Kelly Warosh, our local Mary Kay lady, donated a beautiful gift of MK products for the drawing. Jane Summers has donated in the past an hour session with her. Everyone attending the Circle is encouraged to donate a service or product as a way to letting us know what they do and how we can support them in being even more successful. And there is always a gift certificate for free attendance to a future Circle or TeleCircle.

Along with our regular Circle format, we talked about the idea of your Magnificent Self and how living from your inner magnificence transforms your life. Each person shared one quality of magnificence they held for themselves and our group enthusiastically agreed & supported them in living that quality for a day.

I will toss out the same challenge to each of you. What is 1 thing about yourself that you believe is absolutely magnificent? Embrace that quality and live it for just one day and see what happens. The next day, choose another magnificent quality about yourself & live that for a day. Play with that and let me know what happens.

We had so much fun that we decided December's theme is to come dressed as your favorite holiday! Who might show up as a turkey? Or Santa? Or even an elf? I'll be digging our my jingle bells!

Our last gathering of 2009 is December 17th from 7-9 pm. Please come and join the fun! If you haven't been for awhile, no better time than now to wish a final blessing to 2009 and command for 2010.

Come play in our world and bring a friend.

May you know & live your Magnificence today!

Living Your Magnificent Self

Magnificent. It's a great word isn't it? Just rolls off my tongue so deliciously. "Magnificent: impressive to the mind or spirit. Exceptionally fine."

We are magnificent beings. Our spirit is magnificent. Our body is sheer magnificence in physical form. Yes, we are magnificent beings. Think about that for a moment. Close your eyes and turn inward. Say to yourself "I am magnificent!" What response do you get? What do you feel when you have that thought? What images do you see? What do you tell yourself...or hear?

I realized in meditation the other day my true magnificence. It was a bit uncomfortable at first to think of myself that way. I could easily accept that my divine self is magnificent, but my personality self? My physical form? Not so easy. I had my arguments about that notion, but I was committed to feeling magnificent, being magnificent in every way, so I commanded to realize myself in ALL my magnificence and was flooded with a sense of peace, grace & awesomeness flowing through me.

And I allowed myself the time to accept all that into every cell of my body, into my DNA as my thoughts, feelings & emotions aligned completely with that truth. I allowed the arguments, the anger, frustration, disappointment, disbelief, and judgments to dissolve and release. I wanted only what was magnificent in my life & in my DNA. I stayed in the process until I felt the alignment complete itself.

I AM magnificent! And it has changed how I perceive my world. The same issues are still there---and I see them completely differently. Like putting on new glasses, everything came into focus. They are no longer issues, problems or setbacks. I see them as opportunities! And choices! What?...... Yep—opportunities & choices.

In an instant I went from feeling small & fearful over some things happening in my life to being empowered! Who wouldn't want to feel empowered instead of fearful?! To feel possibilities instead of disappointment? Just the thought of that as a possibility; doesn't that stir something deep within you to say "I want that too!"

Are those 'opportunities' still hanging around? Sure. But instead of looking at them with dread or anger, I look at them from my own magnificent Self and say "hmmmm...how can this get turned around quickly to what I want?' Can you FEEL the difference in that! The power in that? I get to have fun changing those areas of my life I'm not yet happy with. There is excitement in my day...a delicious hope of things happening now. When you live from your own magnificence, there is no judgment. Only thought, action & outcome and magnificent feelings.

I asked for...and received....an image that I could continue to focus on in times I might be tempted to forget how absolutely magnificent I am. Then I commanded that symbol into my DNA. I am magnificent! I inhabit an absolutely magnificent body...and I expect that my body will heal & change as I hold that image of it. I am a magnificent person...and I know that my business flourishes even more, because I will see the magnificence in everyone I meet. And my family relationships grow even closer...because I relate to each person from my magnificent self to their magnificent self.

I spent a wonderful day this weekend with my daughter & 2 wonderful grandkids. To see them in their magnificence was an incredible experience. It changed my experience of that day. We had more fun than ever doing the things we normally do. They did nothing different than normal....then what was the difference? Because I was looking from my own magnificent state of being...their magnificence wasrevealed to me. I could see it because I was looking for it and EXPECTED to find it. We find what we expect to find. YOUR magnificence is ALWAYS there.

You are never not magnificent. You may behave in ways or make choices that are less than your magnificent self. But you...your body, your mind, your spirit---are ALWAYS magnificent. You are hard-wired to live from this place; it is in your DNA. It was experiences in early childhood that trained you to believe something different about yourself. And, since you are no longer a child—it is time to reclaim who you truly are. A most magnificent being! And just think....what would this world be like if we each lived from this place...saw everyone & everything from this place? What would that be like?

Do you consider yourself magnificent? If you do—in what ways are you magnificent? Make a list and celebrate your magnificence. If you don't consider yourself magnificent yet, what are the reasons? List those out....then command for what you want instead. Command for an image, symbol, sign, demonstration that is a constant reminder for you; something that you can draw on when you are feeling less than your magnificent self.

What if you could pretend for just one day that you lived from your own magnificence? What would that be like? How would you see your life & other people differently? What would you say differently to yourself? What would feel different and where do you feel it?

I have shared my magnificence with you. Will you share yours with me? I want to be in relationship with other magnificent beings...to be supported by them and to support them in theirs. I desire to hear from your Magnificent Self.

Being the Hero of Your Own Life

Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. ~ Carl Gustav Jung

Our goal of human experience is to transform ourselves from beings who seek to attain power to beings who seek to be empowered. To seek to be empowered is the sign of a Hero. If you want to be different, to have different or to do different, you are a Hero seeking empowerment over your life.

What is your definition of a Hero? Webster’s Dictionary defines a hero as ‘one that shows great courage.’ When you hear the word Hero, what comes to mind? Western civilization has many models of the Hero. We have super heroes like Superman and Batman, and every country has its own war heroes. There are social heroes like Mother Theresa, Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. and sports heroes. There are heroes in literature as well as our own personal heroes.

How would you define a hero? Heroes are often thought of as men of great courage, who take great risks and sacrifice themselves for the greater good. The Hero’s Journey is considered a difficult and dangerous journey undertaken by only the strongest and bravest. My definition is very different. I define a hero as any person who hears a call to change and answers that call, regardless of what that change is. It takes great courage to look at your life and decide to make a change. Many spend their lives stuck in their own story of why their life is not working and never step outside of the story long enough to even dream that they can have or be or do something different. The Hero of my definition sees a problem or an opportunity and seeks a change, which is empowerment.

Take a moment and think. If you were a hero, which one would you be? What qualities of that hero inspire you? I have asked groups of people these questions and am amazed at the depth of their answers and the qualities they admire. I would be Wonder Woman. She is strong, intelligent and beautiful—a strong female archetype. Her idea of justice is achieved through love, kindness, compassion, strength and fairness. Empowered within herself, she seeks to empower others. She also has an invisible plane and a Lasso of Truth…just to make the journey more fun. So who would you be?

Who are the heroes in your life? Who inspires you, teaches you, and challenges you to be more? My children are my heroes. They are four different people, living very different lives, but they all have one thing in common. Each has an absolute knowing that they can achieve their dreams. Many times I have seen one of them make a decision to have something different in their life and then go about allowing it to happen. It never dawns on them that their dream will not come true; to them achieving their goals is as natural as breathing. They inspire me to be the same…to create from my desires and allow those desires to manifest in my life.

So what are the qualities that you so admire in your heroes? I invite you to take those qualities and turn them into commands. Those are the qualities that you desire to awaken and activate within you.

Tony Robbins said “The only thing that keeps you from having what you want in life is the story you tell yourself about why you cannot have it.” If you are tired of your story, you are being called to make a change, to take a journey. You are being called to the Hero’s Journey. This is not the first journey you’ve taken either. You already know how to do this. It is hard-wired into your DNA. Every time you decide to make a change in your life, you take the Hero’s Journey.

This Hero's Journey, this heroic quest is about saying ‘yes’ to yourself and, in so doing, becoming more fully alive and more effective in the world. It offers great rewards: the capacity to be successful in the world and the opportunity to share your gifts with others.

When you realize that there are no outside forces that can determine your destiny and when you stop looking outside of yourself for success or joy or happiness, you will find that Heroic Self within. You will reveal your true self, your Heroic Self, and you will find yourself back home again, knowing yourself for the first time.

A Hero lies within you….waiting……..

I’ve been sharing with this group about my journey in creating the teleseminar series using TOC and the hero’s journey by Joseph Campbell. The growth that it has produced in me continues to unfold each day---even with the flu that I currently have I can feel changes still happening. What started out as this little idea about creating a ‘study group’ sort of thing has grown beyond my wildest imagination into a full blown 3 part series with a free introductory teleseminar and exercises that needed to be created and a ton of other things that I never foresaw would happen. I commanded for support and ‘magical helpers’ appeared…..Asara, Kathryn, Katie, Penny, this group and a host of others. My head is still spinning!

Asara & Kathryn have teased me for years about me being the ‘toe in the water’ kinda girl…overly cautious to the end.  I thought I would ‘dip my toe in the water’ of teleseminars and it appears I jumped off the high dive instead! The 1 hour free teleseminar that I thought would have, if I was lucky, 25 people is now at 102 people—and still growing. I am upgrading my maestro conference account a 2nd time so more people can join the call. And the notes I have received from some of the people who registered is humbling indeed---places they are stuck or in pain or with a deep desire to change something about their lives has touched my heart so deeply. There is definitely a power greater than myself with a hand in this and I am awed by it all.

When the Law of Attraction meets The One Command magic really does happen. (Hey! that’s my new byline!)

A Day of Amazing Grace
October 1, 2009

I recently had an experience with a young man named Mike in a parking lot desperately in need of gas to get to his destination and from having been out of work for months. I listened to my guidance that told me to buy him some gas instead of giving him money. It was very important I was told. It was a simple, quick exchange, and as I drove away I found myself crying from a feeling welling up inside of me that I could not name. The feeling was beyond a sense of doing the right thing or 'paying it forward' or even a 'random act of kindness.' It was a feeling of a heart connection between two souls who recognized each other for just a brief moment. Something passed between us in those moments and I knew something within me was changed forever. I did not have a word to describe it at first, but now I do. Grace. A simple act of grace.

Amazing grace. That heart connection that we make when we step outside of our own life for just a moment to honor the divinity in another. Webster's Dictionary defines grace as 'the quality or state of being considerate or thoughtful.' Dictionary.com defines it as 'favor or good will.' That is the feeling I had flowing through me, changing me in some way after my brief encounter with Mike that day. Amazing grace.

My experience has inspired me to invite you to join me and others for a 'Day of Amazing Grace.' All around the world--wherever you live. In every country--even in every city. A day for all who choose to perform one act of kindness for another. An act of amazing grace. No strings attached, no expectation of receiving back from the person, no thought except to experience that heart connection for yourself.

Carol Barbeau often reminds us that we are all one and we are all in this life together. The greatest gift you can ever give another is yourself. I invite you to participate in this Day of Amazing Grace by giving some bit of yourself to another. It does not have to cost a cent. You being You out in the world is enough. It can be as simple as making eye contact & smiling at someone on the street. Offering a cheerful greeting to the checker at your grocery store. Helping a mother with young children carry her packages to the car. Paying for coffee for the person standing behind you in Starbucks. Picking up trash off the street. Telling everyone in your family that you love them. Thanking and appreciating a friend. It can be ANY act of amazing grace that you are called to perform.

It is time to re-engage in life and in the greater community. Like Smokey the Bear used to say "Only you can prevent forest fires," I say 'Only you can perform an act of mazing grace.' Just one act; just one day—Thursday, October 1st.

I invite you all to add to this list of possible acts of amazing grace. Let us engage in life rather than retreat from it. Let us make this world a little better because we are here—and because we can. Can you commit to one act of amazing grace on Thursday, October 1st? If you could, what would you do?

There is no official organization and I am not organizing the day. I am inviting you to come join me and have your own experience of amazing grace. Do it for yourself and notice your experience. I invite you to come walk this journey together.

Please add your creative ideas of grace to the list below and then send to everyone you think might be interested in joining us.

Who's day can you change on October 1st? Come and play!!

Reclaiming Your Sacred Self

What is a Sacred Self and how do you reclaim it? Your Sacred Self is that part of you that is always held separate, protected and away from any craziness you may have experienced growing up. We all have that part within us. Some of us are more connected to it than others. Sometimes we move in and out of connection with it. She/he is always there—waiting for us to pay attention and reclaim the power within. The more traumatic our childhood, the more disconnected we become from our Sacred Self. Our Sacred Self is eternally innocent and profoundly powerful. When we live disconnected from that part of ourselves, we are only living a partial life. When we are disconnected from our Sacred Self, we are disconnected from our greatest power to create.

I recently had an experience that showed me how disconnected from my Sacred Self I had become. Without really noticing, I was spending increasingly more time working, doing, building and less time being in connection and communion with myself. Even during my daily meditation times I was ignoring that part of me that ‘completes’ me.

There is a funny saying called “Murphy’s Law’ that says that anything that can go wrong will go wrong, and Murphy’s Law was actively at play in my life one day several weeks ago. Life around me seemed to be falling apart right before my eyes. I had been commanding for several things to show up in my life and for specific changes to take place. Now, had I taken the time to remember that I had commanded for change I might have experienced that day very differently.
But I became so caught up in what was disintegrating right in front of me that I fell back into an old pattern, which is to collapse under the anxiety, fear & pain. My life was over, my marriage would soon follow, I’d lose my home and I should just give up and get a job at minimum wage and be content. I felt lost, frustrated, overwhelmed and completely hopeless that life would ever get better. I was so caught up in the anxiety and trying to use my conscious mind to figure my way out that all I know, use and teach was buried under the anxiety.

I turned to 2 friends for help out of the quagmire I found myself in. Both are not only good friends, but incredible practitioners and teachers of TOC. With their help I was able to see that my life wasn’t falling apart---my life was changing. It was changing because of the commands I had made. I had commanded to be in closer contact with all parts of me; to be connected to and have a deeper relationship with myself. My job now was to now stop trying to piece the old back together and allow those commands to manifest fully in my life. I was reminded that when the going seems to get rough, that is the exact time to step up the commanding—to command even more. Pain, anxiety and fear are messengers. They carry powerful information for us if we but choose to pay attention.

So, I gave myself the gift of time—the time to focus in on myself and what was calling for healing in my life. I committed to walk what I talk. For several days I commanded for everything. I commanded to feel peaceful as I addressed each issue. I commanded for clarity in the next steps. I commanded to keep moving forward. I commanded for resolution, for deeper connection with the people around me, for opportunities & lucky breaks. I sometimes even commanded to remember to breathe. I allowed the shifts in consciousness to happen and I allowed myself to surrender to the process and trust that I was moving in the right direction.
From that experience I re-committed to myself. I re-chose what I wanted. I re-decided.
And I reconnected to my Sacred Self. Once I allowed all the junk to unwind and dissolve, there she was. Simply waiting—as all our Sacred Selves are. With my connection to my Sacred Self present and strong, my creativity and energy are greatly enhanced. Clarity is my companion. I am hearing, seeing and feeling in new ways. New opportunities have sprung up over night and I am playing in the world very differently than before. ALL parts of me are showing up and the world is responding to me in exciting, wonderful and refreshing ways.

If you are finding your world collapsing around you, I invite you to give yourself that gift of time. Take the time to listen to your Sacred Self and the messages it has for you. Instead of collapsing under the weight of the pain, anxiety and fear, trying surrendering it and allowing something new and wonderful to take its place. Seek help if you need it.

Re-commit, re-choose, re-decide. Re-claim your Sacred Self. Re-claim the power within you to re-create your life.

Musing for a Saturday afternoon

"It is not that you fall down that is important. It's how you get back up." That is the gift of being human. No matter how far we fall...no matter how deep the pit we are in, there is always an opportunity to change in the moment & experience a different outcome. We are human and we are divine, both. What a great place earth school can be when we get that we have the power to create & recreate.

The New Sacred Space

I went from being small and powerless, defining myself by the opinions and the perceived judgments of others. Now I am living in The New Sacred Space, ME! I am Me in every moment, every where I go, in everything I do, it’s all of who I am.

I participate in a Psychic Show Case on a regular basis. It is an interesting format, a panel of Psychic’s sit together at one large table. Each member of the audience receives a short reading from one of the panel members. I never know what the night will bring as the audience and the panel varies from week to week. Last night one of the Psychic’s (that I did a reading for 3 weeks ago), told me the reading I gave him was total B.S. and that people that give a reading like that are just “Making it up”. There was silence at the table and several open jaws! I looked down the table and replied to him, “It’s perfectly alright that you don’t like your reading. And it is okay with me that you don’t.”

I had a totally different reaction! My old behavior would have been to get into an argument, when that was not going my way, stomp out or to fill the evening with endless talk about my huge resentment! What was so amazing was to be a witness to my own total transformation. I was peaceful, calm and empowered. I was just ME in that moment. For the first time in my life Me was more than enough! I was now free to enjoy my evening, talking with friends and
clients. I even made arrangements for future business dates.

How did I get this miraculous transformation?? It was all due to The Command and The 6 Structures of Belief. I will never forget the relief I felt as years of pain transformed into tears and slid harmless down my face.

Can I get a Yea Haw?????

Miracles happen when mind, thoughts & body come into alignment

This is a wonderful story about healing in a moment. I was attending the One Command Leadership Certification training with Asara Lovejoy & Kathryn Perry. Sixteen of us together for 12 days of training to teach the One Command seminars. What we call a 'miracle' is the mind, our thoughts & our body coming into harmony & alignment in a instant to 'discreate' a physical challenge. Lesley's 'miracle' was inspiring to all of us who witnessed her total transformation. I hope it is inspiring for you as well.
Bonnie

"For all who do not know me, I'm from Somerset in England and received an email from Asara sometime in July. i say sometime because I'm not sure what the date is anymore. The story so far -

I received this email at about 11 p.m. on a Monday evening and thought, Oh an email from Asara she wants to tell me about a seminar in America that I won't be able to afford, I'll delete it in the morning and promptly went to bed.

Well - the next morning Tuesday (something or another) I didn't delete the email and opened it. Goodness, the Commanding Wealth Seminar was in Chicago this weekend. Something happened in that moment and I told myself I would go.

As I said I'm from England and so waited eight hours for Asara and Kathryn to wake up. In those hours I deliberated and tentatively looked for suitable flights. I rang Kathryn that afternoon at 5p.m. my time in such a state of 'I'm going' 'what if I can't?'

Kathryn confirmed I could and so a hotel. flight and the course were booked within 30 minutes. I packed a small overnight bag as I was only going for the three days, went to sleep and the following morning at 5.30a.m. was on my way to a London airport for the 11.30a.m. flight.

On the first day of the CW Seminar Asara, who had taught me Theta four years ago in England told me of the Leaders course in Widbey this August and I should attend. I don't know why but I said 'yes' straight away.

To cut a long story short I stayed in America and have been with Asara and Kathryn since Chicago. We have had such a fantastic time the past few weeks on the Leadership course and on the last day we were shown Physical healing.

WELL and this is truly amazing - I have suffered from not being able to stand upright, a sort of leaning forward all my life. My mother took me to ballet when I was about two and a half years old to sort it out. I HATED BALLET and would cry all the time I was there. The teacher would not keep me in the class and said I was disrupting the class by me crying. I went to the leading Osteopath in England, in fact the first osteopath to be recognised in the profession. He could not do anything. I've been to sports masseurs, normal masseurs, acupunture you name it I've tried it all to no avail. Until yesterday!

It took about an hour maybe an hour and a half, very emotional memories came up and as on most of the days in the past two weeks my mascara ended up somewhere near my chest. My guide on this exercise was so very intuitive and found the core belief very quickly. We went through the steps needed and I got up and walked tall. You have no idea how emotional that was and still is to me. My eyes are watering as I type.

If any of you who are not yet leaders wish to think about becoming one, Asara holds the course twice a year and I can vouch for the August course. A very very good August for me, one I will remember for the rest of my life.

I'm returning to England next week and will be taking The One Command there, in fact my first Commanding Wealth is in September. You are all so lucky to have Asara, Kathryn, Bonnie, Penny and last but not least Katie here in your country.

Well I hope you haven't fallen asleep with the length of this email, keep well and happy all of you and we'll speak soon.

Don't just change your life ~ Transform it

Do you often think that you need to improve some aspect of your life? Or to change it? You may be able to shift a few things and then for awhile your life seems better, but it doesn't last. Something or someone comes along and...there you are, back in that old pattern again.

How you language your life creates your life. The words you use create an intensity of emotions. You make decisions based upon your emotions. Your emotions drive your behaviors and your behaviors form your world. Consciously choosing powerful words creates a different perspective, so why not choose powerful words!

Close your eyes for a moment and say to yourself "I want to improve my life." Notice how that feels in your body. Do you get a sense of delight and excitement or is there little intensity? What about "I want to change my life." Maybe a bit more intensity?

Now say to yourself "I want to transform my life." How is that different in the way you feel, the images you see or the words you hear? Transform! There is power in that word beyond the meaning of the word itself. It carries a very different vibration than the other words. It is a word that says "Yes! Let's do it!"

To improve is to make something better. Improvement is good. Yet to improve is subject to fluctuation depending upon your mood, an event, a person. It is not a permanent state and one bad day can undo any 'improvement' you've made.

To change is to experience a shift in consciousness and behaviors. Change can be permanent and often is. Yet there are still limited thoughts and resources. There is the potential to regress--3 steps forward, 1 step back.

To transform is to think and act from your true nature. Your attention and intention are in alignment and harmony. You retain all that is authentic about you and have access to limitless resources. Old patterns cannot arise as they no longer exist. You can do, be and have from a different perspective permanently.

Why settle for improving or changing your life when you can transform it! I invite you to give yourself the gift of transformation and step into the Master that you already are. A whole new life awaits you!

Happy transforming,

Bonnie

Better questions give better answers

Wanting to dig a little deeper into how you expect to the world to show up for you? Tony Robbins says to get better answers, you need to ask better questions.

In The One Command we tell you to ask “What do I want instead?” That is probably the best question you will ever ask yourself. And if you are curious about why “what is” is not what you want—you can ask yourself more questions. Adopt an attitude of curiosity and your self-awareness will deepen & expand.

I invite you to spend some time asking yourself these questions. Be sure you take the time to receive the answer! You might just be wonderfully surprised.

You will notice that not one question asks Why? Asking why will only give you the ‘story’ about why you do or do not have what you want. Better questions do not look for the story or the reasons. They do not excuse, blame, criticize or judge. Better questions look for the answer. Once you have the answer, you already have a great tool for creating new outcomes. Use this month’s TOC Challenge!

1. Where am I yet bound by personality and habitual thoughts of lack?
2. How does holding onto (______) serve me?
What’s the benefit of keeping it?
3. What am I afraid will happen if I let it go?
4. What is standing between me and what I want?
5. How do I expect the world (people) to show up for me in ________?
6. Where do I have the ‘brakes’ on in my life?
7. What opportunity is here that I am not grasping?
8. What good is here that I’m not seeing?
9. What gift within me is seeking to emerge?

What do you choose instead?

Have FUN with this and report to the group what you have learned about yourself.

Bonnie

When 'what is' isn't what you want

“Challenges reveal our blind spots, the places where we are yet bound by our personality traits and habitual thoughts of lack, limitation and so on…Being alive means welcoming the next challenge because you have discovered how this activates the evolutionary impulse to establish a higher vision for your life.” Michael Bernard Beckwith

Reading those words this morning about challenges led me to question my ‘not enoughness’ around money. Where am I yet bound by personality and habitual thoughts of lack? How do I benefit from holding onto money as a challenge? If challenges do activate the higher vision for my life & encourage me to evolve—then how is my challenge around money serving me?

Do you remember those blow up ‘boppy’ toys from childhood? They had a heavy bottom & you could punch it, it would tip over & then bop right back up. I got one for my daughter so that she could hit that instead of her brother. That image sprang to mind---THAT is how I have been unconsciously dealing with my programs around money. Overcoming, feeling better, back in my face…overcoming, feeling better, back in my face….. Another question—“How does that serve me?” The belief was that by doing that, I was safe from other ‘challenges’ that would be more scary. At least THIS challenge I knew—I understood it—I had the tools to play with it---it was a ‘known’ & felt comfortable (to my child’s mind). That is the thought process/survival strategy of a child, which I was still unconsciously running.

This is not a matter of ‘true’ or ‘not true’—this is one of those ‘what is’. I received the information with gratitude. Clarity! By asking better questions, I received better answers—answers that I could do something with. Answers that I can turn into Commands.

So I sat with ‘what is’ and asked ‘what do I want instead?’ I got a nice list of what I wanted instead of the punching the boppy toy. And with May being Choosing month, I focused my commands on Choosing:

I don’t know how I choose:
-to be friends with money
-a good relationship with money
-to be happy with money
-to have money
-to love money & to allow money to love me right back
-to be partners with money
-to play with money
-to thoroughly enjoy my life with money

When Intention Meets Attention--Miracles Happen

It takes faith to move beyond the fears of our subconscious programming. The One Command creates the intention and faith (trust without evidence) focuses our attention. The creative power of intention aligned with the action steps that flow from attention leads to transformation from where we are to where we want to be.

I recently had the opportunity to practice what I teach. There is nothing like personal experience to more deeply understand the teachings of The One Command. In January I was working with Anne and Sandy who were organizing The One Day-The One Command seminar for me in Philadelphia. Registration was not going well. Response was slow and it was looking as if the seminar would not happen. I had signed a contract with a hotel for the conference room and was looking at losing a lot of money. We did some brainstorming around how to draw people to the class and agreed to talk later that week with more ideas. We ended the conversation with commanding for what we wanted—30 students for the seminar.

I hung up the phone and slammed right into my old childhood programming. In a panic, I heard my inner critic telling me how I would lose all that money, how I would fail as expected, yet again. The best I could do was to take the loss and stay home. My pattern of ‘attempt/overwhelm/give up’ was running amok. We have 67,000 thoughts a day running in a 90 minute cycle 24/7, and that day in January all 67,000 thoughts were focused on my failures. I was shaking and nauseous as fear flowed through my veins and “I told you so” rang in my ears.

I know that challenges in life are really gifts wanting to be opened, wanting to be brought into the Light and transformed. I talk it and now it was time to walk it. So I called Asara and asked for help in understanding and clearing the old programs keeping me stuck. As I was in the middle of my panic, she suggested that if I were going to fail I might want to fail moving forward instead of failing by giving up. Give it a try she suggested and see what happens. So I did.

Within a week of shifting out of my fears and focusing my attention on my intention, the doors in Philadelphia flew open and registrations began to pour in. Anne and Sandy were busy registering people, sharing their stories of TOC and attending to the details of putting together a seminar. They did an amazing job pulling it all together and we delighted in working together.

The truth is it was never about Philadelphia or the seminar or the people involved. There really is no out there out there. It really is just me having a relationship with different aspects of myself projected onto other people around me. I used The One Command to shift what I thought was possible. I came to the edge of my old programming of wanting to quit and made a different choice. I chose a new way of being in the world—not a perfect life without challenges, but as a master of my life.
